Why join a group?

Group therapy can be a powerful therapeutic experience. Learning from and being supported by other group members allows for a sense of community that is often missing from our busy lives.

Current Group Offerings

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group

Dialectical behavior therapy is an evidence based therapy that focuses on skill building and taking empowering action in real life. In this DBT group, members will learn in class-teaching style how to: Participate more fully in life; Cope successfully with symptoms of anxiety or depression; Get unstuck from unhelpful emotional or behavioral patterns; Let go of judgments of self and others. Members will also gain skills to help soothe during emotional crises, decrease behaviors that are creating difficulties in life, learn to effectively handle emotional pain, and use assertive communication.

This group is facilitated by Ari Rozenberg MHC-LP

This 12 week group will be held via Zoom on Tuesdays from 7:30-9pm starting 01/23/24.

Eating Disorder Support Group: Recovery Revelations

Give and receive support in this eating disorder recovery focused process group.

Our group meets on Mondays from 7-8pm via Zoom and is facilitated by Sarah Chipps, PsyD & Elizabeth Grant, LMSW.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) Group

Cognitive Processing Therapy is an evidence based trauma treatment. In this CPT group, participants will complete the manualized treatment including outside homework assignments, learn about trauma, explore trauma’s impact on individual beliefs and work to challenge them.

This group is facilitated by Alex Zipkis LMHC

This 13 week group will be held in-person at our office in Williamsburg on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30pm starting 04/04/2024.
