Why join a group?

Group therapy can be a powerful therapeutic experience. Learning from and being supported by other group members allows for a sense of community that is often missing from our busy lives.

Current Group Offerings

DBT for Social Anxiety

In this supportive 13-week group, participants will learn Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to manage social anxiety and build confidence in everyday interactions. Together, participants will learn and practice DBT skills in a supportive environment, strengthening their ability to manage anxiety and connect with others. Core skills include mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.

Mondays: 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm ET

Group will begin Monday, October 6th, 2025.

DBT for Couples

Conflict with a partner can be tough. In this supportive 13-week group, couples will learn Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to improve communication, navigate conflict, and strengthen connection. DBT helps partners build mindfulness of emotions, tolerate distress, communicate effectively, and manage emotional crises. Together, couples will practice these skills in a supportive environment and apply them directly to their relationship. This skills-based group is now enrolling 5 couples.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group

Dialectical behavior therapy is an evidence-based therapy that focuses on skill building and taking empowering action in real life. In this DBT group, members will learn in class-teaching style how to: Participate more fully in life; Cope successfully with symptoms of anxiety or depression; Get unstuck from unhelpful emotional or behavioral patterns; Let go of judgments of self and others. Members will also gain skills to help soothe during emotional crises, decrease behaviors that are creating difficulties in life, learn to effectively handle emotional pain, and use assertive communication.

Tuesdays: 4:30 pm -6:00 pm ET

Group will begin Tuesday, October 7th, 2025.

Recovery Revelations

Give and receive support in this eating disorder recovery focused process group. We have both an in-person and virtual offering for this group.

In Person: Sundays from 12pm-1pm in our Williamsburg office, Lunches Welcome! Facilitated by Taylor Beckman, LCAT.

Virtual: Mondays from 7:30-8:45pm via Zoom and is facilitated by Elizabeth Grant, LMSW.

DBT for PTSD

Dialectical behavior therapy is an evidence based therapy that focuses on skill building and taking empowering action in real life.

In this group, participants will:

  • Identify Experiences: Together, we’ll gently explore PTSD symptoms and identify the challenges you face.

  • Build Skills: Learn Mindfulness Techniques, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Crisis Survival and Interpersonal Communication skills to help you effectively manage PTSD-related stressors and symptoms.

  • Real-World Guidance: Gain practical insights into implementing these skills in your life while identifying and working through obstacles with empathy and support.

  • Community Connection: Find solace and strength in a community of peers who can relate in their own way.

    Wednesdays: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm ET
