What is DBT?
Dialectical behavior therapy is an evidence based therapy that focuses on skill building and taking empowering action in real life.
In this Group Participants will :
Explore PTSD symptoms and identify the challenges they face.
Learn DBT Skills including; Mindfulness Techniques, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Crisis Survival and Interpersonal Communication skills to help them effectively manage PTSD-related stressors and symptoms.
Gain practical insights into implementing these skills in their life while identifying and working through overcoming obstacles to skills use
Find solace and strength in a community of peers who can relate in their own ways.
