Jamee Pollard, LMSW
Pronouns: She/Her
Jamee specializes in supporting adults who feel chronically anxious, burned out, or emotionally disconnected from who they used to be. Many of her clients are accustomed privately struggling with intense self criticism and a persistent sense of being unvalued or misunderstood, often leading to emotional exhaustion and shutdown.
She pulls from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Interpersonal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand not just what they feel, but why their patterns exist and how to change them. Her work is especially helpful for people who intellectualize emotions, feel uncomfortable with self-kindness, or repeatedly find themselves in unsupportive environments.
Therapy with Jamee is active and intentional. She brings a balance of compassion, curiosity, candor, and occasional humor to sessions. From the start, she collaborates with clients so sessions feel purposeful rather than endless or vague. She is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness based approaches, and Internal family systems informed, parts-oriented work.
Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming. Jamee offers free consultations to help you explore whether working together would be supportive and to answer any questions you may have along the way.
