What is DBT?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment that combines acceptance and change strategies. It focuses on building practical skills and taking empowering action in everyday life.
In this Group Participants will :
Explore the impact of social anxiety and the challenges it creates in daily life
Learn DBT skills including mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, crisis survival and interpersonal effectiveness
Gain practical tools for applying these skills while addressing barriers to effective use
Find support and connection in a community of peers who can relate to their experiences
