What is DBT?

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment that combines acceptance and change strategies. It focuses on building practical skills and taking empowering action in everyday life.

 

In this Group Participants will :

  • Explore the impact of social anxiety and the challenges it creates in daily life

  • Learn DBT skills including mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, crisis survival and interpersonal effectiveness

  • Gain practical tools for applying these skills while addressing barriers to effective use

  • Find support and connection in a community of peers who can relate to their experiences
