What is DBT?

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment that combines acceptance and change strategies. It focuses on building practical skills and taking empowering action in everyday life.

 

In this Group Participants will :

  • Explore the impact of conflict and communication challenges in their relationship.

  • Learn DBT skills including mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, crisis survival and interpersonal effectiveness.

  • Gain practical tools for applying these skills while working through barriers to effective use.

  • Strengthen their relationship in a supportive environment while connecting with other couples who can relate.
